BATTERY TECHNICIAN

• Identify specific needs of customers and provide solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with customer as well as service/parts departments.
• Understand battery needs for replacement and repairs.

SUMMARY

Black Equipment is seeking a Battery Technician to perform quality repairs on batteries and chargers within the forklift industry. Position will include completing assignments safely and to the customer’s satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have related experience and/or training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Follow procedures in obtaining work order from service department.
• Diagnose and repair customer battery/charger issues.
• Complete assignments safely and efficiently
• Maintains a clean working environment (shop and/or van)

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have related experience and/or training as well as mechanical aptitude. This position also requires knowledge of internet software.

EDUCATION:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

CERTIFICATES & LICENSES

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
